Private Onsen Finder is free to use. We earn money through affiliate links: if you click a compare-prices button and book, the booking site may pay us a commission. You don't pay anything extra.

How does Private Onsen Finder make money?

Through affiliate commissions. If you click a compare-prices link to Agoda, Trip.com, Booking.com or Klook and book, the booking site may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Properties cannot pay to be listed or to change their facts, and commissions never affect what we show.

Which programmes

We link to Agoda, Trip.com and Booking.com for hotel bookings and to Klook for tours and day trips. Links go through our own /go/ redirect so we can count clicks, and they are marked rel="sponsored".

What commissions don't change

Commissions never influence the facts on a listing or whether a property is listed. Properties can't pay to be included or to change their facts.

Rakuten Travel

We take part in Rakuten Affiliate. Rakuten Travel links are the affiliate links Rakuten provides (they don't go through /go/) and are labelled "PR". Rakuten prices, ratings and photos on property pages and in tables come from the Rakuten Travel API and appear only next to a Rakuten Travel link; photos load directly from Rakuten's servers and we don't store them. Prices

Rakuten Travel prices are Rakuten's lowest-rate estimate per room per night (any room type, including tax and service charge), shown with the date we fetched them; we hide them once they are more than 7 days old. Live prices, taxes and availability are set by the booking sites and can differ between them, which is why we link to several.
